How do I find a qualified agent?

How long does the process take to acquire a health plan with NDFB Health Plans?

Applications take between 30 minutes to an hour to complete. If medical records are required, you will need to contact your health care provider and email or mail the medical records to North Dakota Farm Bureau Health Plans. Once that information is provided, and all the necessary forms are included, the typical turn-around time is 22 days.

I live in North Dakota, but my mailing address is in another state. Do I still qualify for the health plan?

Yes. As long as you are a North Dakota resident and have a valid North Dakota driver's license, you can qualify for the plan.

Is a membership required to receive a quote?

No. You can receive a quote without a North Dakota Farm Bureau membership. To receive an offer of coverage, an application, (which requires a membership) must be filled out.

Is there an enrollment period for North Dakota Farm Bureau Health Plans?

The initial enrollment period will begin October 1, 2024, with plan commencement beginning January 1, 2025.
